Hello Guys,

What's up? Getting bored? Today, I am gonna share about what I am doing when we all are staying at our home. It has been almost two months for the lockdown and almost the whole nation is following the orders of higher authorities in power. We all are facing such a horrific pandemic that was unprecedented to all of us. We all are concerned about what is happening around us and worried too. But our brain needs to keep doing various tasks when our body is somehow performing the less physical movement as we all are doing work from home, not attending any meeting or gatherings. So let us peek into my current small but safe world. We all are well enlightened with the figures and facts of the COVID-19 cases so I am thinking to tell you something that I am doing during this lockdown period. I would be very happy if any of my activities would inspire you to perform them too.

The day I received the notice on my college website that all the classes will remain suspended till the situation gets under control, I straightaway called my parents for informing them about the notice and they were so worried and little mad at me for returning to the hostel before the end of mid-semester break. I told them that I couldn't study at home as there is a lot of distraction back there. I waited in the hostel for two days and on 14th March 2020, I decided to return to my home as we were told to vacate the hostel taking social distancing and other preventive measures in concern. The night before my departure to home I wandered around my college campus lawns and tried capturing some mesmerizing views. So here those are,

The night before I left the hostel this white dahlia grasped my attention. I, instantly, rushed to my room to fetch my phone to capture this beauty. Flowers always bring a smile on my face and on that day though I was not feeling good flowers didn't fail in bringing my smile back.

These bright wood sorrels rarely get our attention but they are so lovely that they always add beauty to the things around them. They are like the shimmering small dusty particles that bring life when sparkled on any dull thing.

This is the latest picture that I have with me on the college campus. I was leaving the hostel and about to exit the college gates when suddenly I realized how sequester the college was on that day. So, I thought of capturing the mood before waving goodbye to this place.

So, that's all I did before coming back home in those two days at the hostel. Now, you all are going to see how I am spending my time nowadays and sometimes I waste it without even realizing that I am doing so.

I am not a foodie but my brother is! And because of him being so passionate about cooking, I am enjoying mouth-watering food that my brother and mum cook.

My mum made these delicious Bread puddings. As the market is closed nowadays so my mother thought of making this sweet dish. It takes only half an hour to make it and then we could enjoy this mouth-watering sweet.
P.S. Want to try and know its recipe, feel free to ping me. I would love to share it.

Now it is my turn. I tried cooking my favorite food: Gravy Manchurian. My brother helped me while cooking it. I didn't get very good reviews from my family members as I added more than required chilies and it got extra spicy. But all in all, it was a nice experience as it was my first try.
Hurry up! Don't miss a chance of cooking your favorite dish during this lockdown.
P.S. Please choose a simple
                                           one. Haha!

The next activity that I am doing and had stopped a long time back is Painting. I always love making art pieces. It amuses me whenever I paint something and show it to my mother or a friend. Just listening to their reviews keep me trying more.

I know that they're not that good but I don't want to hide these from you guys. As I am sharing how I am spending my time so this activity makes a significant contribution. I believe that sharing what you've, even if it is not perfect, is not the wrong thing to do. Sometimes getting good suggestions helps us improve our work for better.

As I relish capturing serene natural views and sometimes making a story out of them so the next activity that I have been performing is Photography. Though my clicks are not captured while keeping each professional skills in my mind, I am enjoying it. Hope you will get your cameras ready after reading this post.

This one is telling a great message- We all are seeing that two worlds that are captured in this click, the first world is showing that the scorching sun rays, coming out from outside, are adding life in the darkroom. They are resembling the arrival of 'hope' after a dark and eerie night that a person in pain is going through. On the other hand, the second downside world is showing the past day that was cloudy and gloomy. This picture is saying that "Every Cloud has a silver lining".

This one could be related to a peaceful day. The day when we aren't hearing any noise but only our inner voice that gets dispersed in the every day hustle around us. We can experience it by shutting us from this
world for a while and
giving our time to us only.

I've been reading 'Becoming' by Michelle Obama and have completed 'Finding Chika: A Little Girl, an Earthquake and the Making of a Family' by Mitch Albom last month. My next read will be 'The Choice: Embrace the Possible' by Edith Eva Eger. If you people read eBooks comfortably, you could download the .epub files of the above-stated books from the below-given links.

1. Becoming

2. Finding Chika: A Little Girl, an Earthquake and the Making of a Family

3. The Choice: Embrace the Possible

That's all I've been doing; these activities are keeping me intact and positive during this tense situation. Before leaving I just want you to remain hopeful even if it is difficult as Challenges prepare a person to face the worst. I hope that performing any of these activities would make you happy. I would be pleased if you people will share your slate too.

Stay Safe and Happy! ✨

Such a light and beautiful read. The way you have presented your thoughts and words are commendable.

Thank you for writing such posts that makes us feel connected. While reading, it feels like it's okay if we are not in hustle, not having a productive day, spending time to make self happy.

Thank you ❤
