Hello fellas,

Today I am going to talk about a special friend and the best part of this conversation would be that you all know this friend ever since you start breathing. I hope you feel connected. My friend is beautiful, and it never fails to leave all of us in wonder when it decides to take another route than the regular it moves on. This friend is special to me because I find it most selfless in today's world. 'Nature' is its name, and God is its creator. Before the birth of a living being, this starts impacting the child in his mother's womb. When an expecting mother gets exposed to unfriendly conditions, it affects her health and her awaited baby. On the other hand, when she gets a healthy environment to live in, she and her baby remain wholesome. Nature has not restricted itself to a particular region or community; it is everywhere, and everything is a part of it, even we too.

Let me ask you a simple question, 'How many minutes do you spend observing your surroundings without fidgeting with anything?' or tell me, 'Do you enjoy finding a colorful rainbow in the sky after a heavy rainfall?' These small-small activities bring a smile to us when we forget to fetch a one due to our busy schedule. Just catching an impromptu moment is required, and we would get to add another enthralling day in our life journey. Nature never cause any harm to a person or thing unless it is forced to do. I can’t explain its anatomy as there is neither a beginning nor an end of it. I wonder how wildlife photographers capture minute details in a Polaroid and leave all of us in amazement. We could also try finding hidden moments in the labyrinth world to satisfy ourselves. But the most important thing that is required, while doing this, is the complete presence of our brain and heart. It should be done without carrying hundreds of thoughts that keep all of us occupied every second of the day. So, give it a try and feel an inexplicable breeze of freshness that you usually don’t get in doing any other work.

I, sometimes, get desirous of living close to mountains or in the cold region. Living in a metropolitan city restrains me from touching nature or catching a glimpse of more bewitching layers of it. That's why it should be our pressing priority to preserve what we are left with and shelter the alluring beauty around us. We won't be doing any favor to nature; it would be only small gratitude that we should offer to nature for what it provides to us.

I, recently, read a piece of horrific news that left me in sorrowful grief 'Fruit laced with explosive kills pregnant wild jumbo in Kerala'. This incident left me in pain; I was not shocked by the inhumane crime but I was moved by the calmness and the patience of that innocent elephant that remained sangfroid when it was under excruciating pain. That person, whom I don't mind calling a devil, killed not only an elephant but its calf that would have been wishing to come out of her mother’s womb, what was its fault?! I know that this is not the first time when human fails Nature; there are uncountable incidents that didn’t get the attention of us. However, these incidents don't require our attention but our courageous move to stop happening these crimes in the future. Our greediness pushes us to commit such sins that devastate our nature badly. How do we forget to take care of an innocent living creature and its community when we never fail to protect our family members and us? Many humans have this perception that they have the right to do so; they must have forgotten that ‘Nobody can stop the havoc of Nature if it comes’. We are facing a global crisis where all of the intelligence and resources, that we are proud of, have failed in defeating a pandemic which already has snatched lives of 0.30 million people. We should get aware of the next about to come, as we snatch the happiness of living creatures for our benefit. Deforestation, poaching, soil erosion, merciless use of natural resources, and thousands of other activities are harming nature in such a way that it is deforming day by day and no one would be able to get back our nature in its original shape. Thereby, it would be better if we all get responsible for our Nature because our single breath is one of its kind blessings before it gets too late. Please add one more friend to your friend list before it gets defunct. I hope I don't need to name it once again. We all are a significant part of Nature only if we are taking care of it in the same way as we do of our family members and well-wishers.

I am leaving you all with a message and hope that we all come together for this expedition without carrying any disparities and engaging in conflicts with our thoughts - "Nature provides us life, let’s save its life this time!" Enjoy some enthralling natural scenes in the below-attached photographs that I clicked mostly in my college.

P.S. Don't fail Nature this time.

Love,

Hakuna
